Movie Summary : It is 1942 plus the German submarine fleet is heavily bound in the so notified "Battle of the Atlantic" to harass plus exterminate English shipping. With more adept escorts of the Destroyer Class, however, German U-Boats have begun to take heavy losses. "Das Boot" is the story of one such U-Boat crew, with the flick toying how these submariners maintained their professionalism because soldiers, checked to triumph impossible missions, while incessantly striving to understand plus obey the ideology of the government under which they served.
